OBJECT THEATRE

These are some of the items from my puppetry "object" performances.
I won't have filmed evidence of them until the end of the semester.

Shoes dancing to "In the Mood"
by the Glenn Miller Band.
90 seconds.

Acting out the trial scene from
Arthur Miller's "The Crucible".
Object sounds only.
90 seconds.

Artist Abstraction of Alexander McQueen runway models
to "After Midnight" by Danny Elfman.
2 minutes.

SHADOW PUPPETS

In-class shadow test puppet.

Cat and Medusa (mirror puppet) "character interaction"
performance to "Night on Bald Mountain" with a LED spotlight.
3 minutes.

In-class shadow test puppet.

Jointed shadow puppet.
To be performed from behind a shadow screen.
Based on the verb "dance."

Testing it out with a LED spotlight.
It will be performed from behind a shadow screen.
Haven't picked out the music yet,
but it will probably be something saucy.
...
"It Don't Mean a Thing (If You Ain't Got That Swing)"

OTHER THINGS

Nigel has clothes!
Still not finished though.

Here are the rest of the dolls, sewn and stuffed, ready for stitching.
