Shadow Puppets

I created a rendition of the traditional Ashanti

African folk tale of "Anansi and his Six Sons."

It was performed to a slightly longer than 3 minute

voice track retelling of the story (me with a pretend

African accent haha), with Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

Special thanks to Kevin for helping me perform and Vika for

helping me photograph these difficult to capture shadows.

Nigel has clothes!

Still not finished though.

Here are the rest of the dolls, sewn and stuffed, ready for stitching.

Left to right: Gretel, Hansel, Cinderella, Rumpelstiltskin.

Nigel has a body! (no eyeballs yet) His hands are not yet attached since I am presently sewing his clothes. Since I took the photo, developments have been made in the pants department. Hopefully, he will soon be fully garbed.
