Right now I am working on making large-scale costume puppets for Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book." My first costume is of the bear, Baloo, who when finished will be between 7-8 feet tall. Here are a few photos of the process, thus far. The head is my favorite. Right now it's more fox-like than bear-like, but with modifications and fabric it will become more like a bear. With the neck it is 2 feet tall and fits comfortably on a head.
Here is the start of a bear paw. The paws will be worn around the ankle above a shoe. Right now I am working on claws.

The waist and leg area will very soon be created and attached to the torso.
